The Oregon Sports Action Legacy
Oregon has a unique history with NFL betting: from 1989 to 2007, the Oregon Lottery's Sports Action NFL parlay game was the only legal sports wager in the state — and one of only four such products grandfathered under PASPA in 1992. The product was voluntarily ended in 2007 under NCAA pressure but is the historical reason Oregon was first in line to relaunch full sports betting in 2019.
